Fright Theatre's Static Character Bodyform System

Every Fright Theatre static character comes standard with our specially designed bodyform system, featuring a durable steel rod armature embedded within soft polyurethane foam. The bodyform is strategically segmented, allowing the character to be posed naturally without bunching, compressing, or distorting the foam.
When developing our static character bodyform system, our goal was simple: to create one of the most versatile and functional bodyforms in the haunted attraction industry. Countless hours of research, design, and refinement went into creating a system that offers exceptional flexibility, stability, and realism.
Innovative Two-Piece Construction
Our static character bodyform separates into two sections: the upper torso and the lower body.
The torso features a steel support rod that slides securely into a receiving tube located within the hip section. Once positioned, the two sections are fastened together using the supplied hardware, accessible through the crotch area.
This innovative design allows the upper torso to be rotated independently of the hips and legs, then securely locked into the desired position. Whether your character is looking over its shoulder, twisting at the waist, or standing in an unnatural pose, this added flexibility creates a more realistic and dynamic display.
Precision Steel Foot Mounting System
Each static character includes two precision-cut steel foot plates designed to provide a stable mounting foundation.
A vertical steel rod is welded to each foot plate. Corresponding steel receiving tubes are embedded within the ankle and heel areas of the character, with openings accessible from the bottom of each foot.
Once the foot plates are securely mounted to your display surface, simply slide the character's feet over the vertical rods. This system provides a secure, reliable way to position and display your character.

Our two-piece construction offers another important advantage: reduced shipping costs.
By separating the torso from the lower body, our static characters can be packaged in smaller, more manageable boxes. This helps reduce shipping expenses while making transportation, handling, and storage easier.
